Upcoming Events!

Mark is off to the Inaugural Melbourne Juggling Convention at the end of September. There he will perform his MAD Hatter routine and a new surprise routine in the Public Show . He will also teach many workshops in different areas, with a focus on club passing and ball juggling. He is also going to get as many people as he can involved in 'The Passing Challenge' which he started at the South African Juggling Convention.

After Christmas, Mark will be working in Circadia at the Woodford Folk Festival as the Workshop Manager and a Workshop Leader.

And as always Mark will be attending the Sydney Juggling Convention in January 2008. A big huge thanks to Dale and Danni who took over organising the convention from me , and who did a marvlous job earlier this year, and who are sure to do another amazing job next year.

Recent Events and News

In August, Mark went to 2UberOz in Brisbane, where he was Time Manager for the workshops and a Workshop Leader as well . In Kyle McLean's review he said "The expanded program was filled by some serious talent on the teacher list, including... club and hoop manipulations from the walking talking object manipulation encyclopedia that is Mark Douglass."

In July, Mark went on
a trip to the USA. He attended the World Juggling Federation Convention and the International Jugglers Association Convention. At the IJA convention, he made it to the finals of the Seniors competition (An 8 minute stage competition) . Thanks to Burgers and Beef for allowing me to use thier music for the competition. He also taught 4 workshops that were well received and well attended.

Mark was the International Guest at the South African Juggling Convention in April/May 2007. He performed 4 acts in the public show, and taught many workshops, with some having almost everyone at the convention attend. He also started his new convention idea of the 'Passing Challenge'.  A huge thanks to Garth and the whole crew over there for inviting me over and treating me so well.


Mark was the Hoopaholic of the Month for March 2007.
